Grey Beard

From the moment I heard about Grey Beard his days were numbered. He had killed eight people by then, three of them skilled hunters who were seeking to bring him down. He had tasted the flesh of humans and his hunger could never be sated. He roamed far and wide, unstoppable and unafraid. But now, sitting on a topless beach on eastern Maui, admiring his beautiful girlfriend silhouetted against the glimmering blue and white of perfect waves, sat the apex hunter, the killer of killers, the one man in the world who could bring the beast down – me. And now I knew he was alive. And now it was my job to change that.
